We’re happy to announce that from November 25 to December 11, 2020, we will organize another Permaculture Design Course at our beloved permaculture community Gaia Ashram!
Whether you would like to know how to create positive change on our planet, or if you’re dreaming to turn a piece of land into a self-sufficient food forest, or you’re simply craving a deeper connection with nature; this Permaculture Design Course is just right for you!
Especially now after the COVID-19 pandemic, we see a big need for the knowledge of how to interact in harmony with Mother Earth. For us, spreading this knowledge and empower people through community experiences is the right response to change. Let us dive together into the powerful and life-changing dimension of Permaculture and creatively respond to change.
This 17-day PDC is designed to give you practical knowledge, tools, inspiration, and connection that will allow you to create a sustainable future; regardless if you are in the city, the suburbs, or on a rural piece of land. Our course is well-balanced between theory and hands-on. To make sure that knowledge and experience can turn into wisdom we’ve decided to space the course out on 17-days instead of the usual 12 – 14 days. This gives us more time for practical sessions on the land of Gaia Ashram, a community-based setting in beautiful Thailand. During the course, we will combine theory sessions and real-life experiences with a good portion of fun hands-on activities.
A Permaculture Design Course (PDC) is an internationally known and accepted 72-hour theory course resulting in a Permaculture Design Certificate that is based on the curriculum of the movement’s founder Bill Mollison. We will cover every major topic in Bill Mollison’s “Permaculture: a Designers Manual”. On top of that, we will strongly emphasize the holistic design and systems thinking approach of Permaculture.
What are the fees?
The fee for this course is 20,000 THB, including 3 vegetarian/vegan meals, accommodation in our dormitory or your own tent, course materials, and teacher fees.
We ask all participants to make a deposit of 5,000 THB to secure your spot and pay the remaining amount in THB or EUR in cash on arrival. Please be aware that in case you have to cancel the course due to personal reasons the deposit cannot be refunded. We reserve the right to cancel the course, even at short notice, if there is a danger to the well-being of the visitors and organizers, such as viral infections (COVID-19 pandemic), storms or natural disasters (fire, hurricanes, floods). In this case, the organizer cannot be held liable for personal losses. Deposits will be refunded at 100%.
We highly recommend to take out a travel cancellation insurance.
